In this episode, we welcome back Kevin Chen, from Paramount Disability Homes. Kevin comes onto our show to talk to Minh about the policy within the NDIS called "Change of Circumstances", which is a process of getting a participant's plan or funding, to be amended from what was originally approved, to a more appropriate outcome.
This is an important topic as it gives our listeners an insight into the process of getting the right category and funding for SDA housing accomodation (or usually the SIL supports as needed), to suit the recommended dwelling needed. This is how it is applicable to our world of SDA, and hence why this topic is discussed on this podcast for our SDA investor listeners.
Kevin also talks about the marketing and procurement process of partcipants for SDA housing, and the recommended timeframe to engage an SDA provider, in a perfect world, and the timeframe to engage in a 'not so' perfect world - given that many participants applying for SDA housing, do not have the correct funding.
