EPISODE:
Eryn and Luba sit down with Brendon Woolf, a participant living in SDA Housing, to talk about him and his fight to get the right funding for his needs and wants. Brendon is an incredibly passionate advocate for SDA and is currently going through the AAT process to attain funding for his dream living situation. Brendon is a client of ADAPT HOUSING, our preferred Housing Provider in Brisbane.
Brendon is wonderful to listen to and we thoroughly recommend everyone listen's to his story. If anyone wants advice or perhaps are looking at appealing their funding, Brendon is more than happy to talk. You can contact him via his social media (all accounts 'Brendon Woolf').
We had some technical difficulties during the recording of this episode. We extend our sincerest apologies if this interrupts your listening experience.
GOALS:
It is our goal to see Participants with high-needs disabilities being appropriately housed in accommodation that is right for them. Purpose built homes promote opportunities for social and economic participation, enhance self-determination, and create conditions for Participants to lead vibrant, safe, and independent lives.
