EPISODE:
Minh sits down with Julian Mero, a good personal friend, who has a lot of experience working for QIC (the investment arm of QSUPER) in QLD. They discuss the second most important word usually after 'location', and that is the term 'infrastructure' which plays a vital role in the location of commercial property development, thereby affecting future residential hubs for communities. These 'residential assets' being developed by such a fund manager developer gives our listeners the evolution of land acquisitions over a 10-15 year timeframe, which creates retail, commercial & residential hubs for a future community. This creates population growth, and thereby has a direct correlation to NDIS participants.
This topic is a way to assess one's own strategy for locations in terms of SDA investment, because if you understand how the 'big players' assess and create future residential communities (a town center strategy), then this helps any type of property investor to understand likely capital growth and demand for residential housing.
This episode is very informative for our listeners and potential investors, and we hope to show you how the basics of commercial and residential property investing still reign as key, when working out where the future in possible demand areas for participants with disabilities may migrate to.
