Flying all the way from Perth to Brisbane for a 3 hour meeting, we have Paul Grant from Axis Lending. He must not have heard of Zoom, right? Just kidding, what a wonderful gesture, thank you Paul!!!

Paul Grant sits down with us to discuss the process of obtaining finance for an NDIS investment property, and whats needed to understand from an investor's perspective. He explains why the main banks and lenders are not currently lending for NDIS property and everything the investor should be aware of from fees to valuations and time frames involved in the entire process, from pre qualification, or borrowing capacity determination to final approval.

As finance is the most important part of the purchase process, we cannot emphasize enought the importance of getting this critical stage sorted out, before you even go shopping for a SDA property. This process normally take 2-3 weeks, for preparation of docs and assessment, then the valuation process is 5 or so weeks, meanwhile the formal approval is being worked on, and then another 2-3 weeks to arrange for settlement (assuming blocks are titled and ready). Overall, the total process is 10-12 weeks, and thus the reason why "FINANCE APPROVAL" is the most important step in your journey of SDA acquisition.
